A couple members were on each side and we apologize that we did not get good photos of them.
At the end of the performance, Dottie Osmun and "Harbor Sounds did a sing-a-ling with the audience to her new lyrics for the song, "Goodbye, Irene".
First Verse: "Saturday night you came howlin. Me and my wife settled down. Now we and our friends are flooded. Dead cars and debris all around."

PAMLICO COMMUNITY BAND & PAMLICO CHORALE PERFORM
AT CROAKERFEST 2011
ART ON THE NEUSE – June 18, 2011
Artists as far away as Virginia and Manteo, made their way to Oriental's Marina & Inn to display their paintings, pottery, metalwork, photography, jewelry, etc.
It was a hot day but at least it didn't rain. It is estimated that at least 500 people came to see the artists' works. Some artists said they had very successful sales; others may not have done as well. Nonetheless, we wish to thank all the artists for participating. Keep on working and do not be discouraged. Pamlico County Arts Council also wishes to thank everyone who helped in some way to make this event a success -- too many to list here but - especially - the volunteers and the musicians, who donated their time and talent to this event.
