About Painted Rocks

a project of the Pamlico Arts Council

Originally launched as part of the 125th Town Celebration for Oriental, North Carolina, with a dragon theme, Painted Rocks has become a fan favorite. Volunteers (children and adults) paint rocks and have the option to take them home or hide them in a public place for someone else to find.
